Harp circles resume in 2020, stay tuned!
Registration is now open for the Harp Retreat in West Bend, WI with Kim Robertson and Sunita Staneslow



Visitors are welcome to all harp circles.  For workshops, everyone present should pay the fee unless they are accompanying a child.  If you have questions about the group or want to learn more about harping in Madison or what a harp circle is, please contact Rachel (608-663-2912).

Music swap - have any music you're no longer playing? Bring it to the next harp circle, put a sticky note with your name and how much you'd like for the music, and see if it finds a new home!

Irish Fest (Milwaukee, WI), August 13-16, 2020.  One of the biggest irish festivals in the country, with a dedicated harp tent!
Harps in the Glen (West Bend, WI), July 30-Aug 2, 2020 (optional additional days on July 29-30), a Retreat with Kim Robertson and Sunita Staneslow.

The Harp Gathering (Sauder Village in Archbold, OH), May 15-17, 2020 (May 14 optional).  Another great festival for lever harp. The 2020 instructors so far are Robbin Gordon-Cartier, Sharon Thormahlen, Denise Grupp-Verbon, Frank Voltz, Rachel Hair, Nicholas Carter (more to be announced!). About 5.5 hour drive from Madison, WI.
Ohio Scottish Arts School (Berea, OH), June 27- July 3, 2020 at new location, Baldwin-Wallace University (about 7.5 hours from Madison, WI).  A week focused on learning Scottish music on the harp.  2020 instructors are Rachel Clemente, Rachel Hair, Jen Narkevicius, and Sue Richards. Aimed at students 12 years and older. Registration opens in March 2020.
Somerset Folk Harp Festival (Parsipanny, NJ), July 16-19, 2020. One of the largest harp festivals for lever harp. Registration and the initial list of performers/teachers will be posted on Jan 1, 2020.  Be sure to sign up during the early bird period for best pricing and to guarantee a free loaner harp to use during the festival.
Colorado's Spanish Peaks Harp Retreat (Walsenburg, CO) Dates and presenters to be announced (it's usually in October).
Huron Harp Fest (Goderich, Ontario), no news yet if this festival will return in fall 2020. You can also check out their Facebook page.
